How it works

From link to library in three steps.

No technical know-how needed. If you can copy and paste, you can use ClipFetch.

  1. 01

    Copy the video link

Open a public Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or Pinterest video, copy its share link or address-bar URL.

  2. 02

    Paste and resolve

Paste the URL above and press Download. We read the public page and find progressive MP4 streams when the platform exposes them.

  3. 03

    Pick your quality

Choose HD or SD when both are available, then save the video straight to your phone, tablet, or computer.

Use it responsibly.

Only download videos you created or have permission to save. Respect copyright, privacy, and each platform's terms. ClipFetch cannot access private or login-protected videos.

Questions, answered

The useful details.

Is this video downloader really free?

Yes. ClipFetch is free to use and does not require an account, extension, or app. There is no third-party downloader subscription behind it.

Can I download private or login-only videos?

No. The tool only works with public content. It never logs in, uses cookies to bypass restrictions, or circumvents privacy settings.

Why do I only see one quality option?

Each platform decides which progressive streams are available. Facebook and Pinterest may offer HD and SD. YouTube progressive MP4s are often capped around 360p–720p because higher qualities use separate audio/video tracks.

Which links work?

Public Facebook videos/Reels/fb.watch, Instagram posts/Reels, YouTube videos/Shorts, and Pinterest pin videos. Private accounts, expired Stories, age-gated, and live streams are not supported.

Where are downloaded videos stored?

On your device, wherever your browser saves downloads. ClipFetch streams the file through a signed, short-lived link and does not keep a copy on the server.

Why does a link fail to resolve?

The post may be private, deleted, region-restricted, age-restricted, a live broadcast, or using a format with no progressive MP4. Try the direct video or Reel URL; if it still fails, the content is not available for public download.

Is downloading these videos legal?

Not always. Copyright and platform terms still apply. Only download videos you own or have explicit permission to save, and never redistribute someone else's content without consent.

1. Facebook video download online

A lot of people just want a simple way to save a Facebook video without installing an app. If the video is public, you can usually copy the link, paste it into an online downloader, and get an MP4 on your phone or laptop. FB story download online

It only works for public posts and Reels. Private videos, friends-only clips, and anything that needs a login won’t show up — and that’s normal. You’re not meant to pull those down.

Quick tip: open the video → Share → Copy link. Paste that full link, not a random share message. After it loads, pick HD or SD if both are there, then download. Keep the file for yourself; don’t re-upload someone else’s content without permission. facebook video download without watermark

2. YouTube Shorts song download

YouTube Shorts are short, but the sound is often the part people want. Searching “YouTube Shorts song download” usually means: save the clip, or at least the audio, so you can listen offline or use it as a reference.

Paste the Shorts link into a tool that supports YouTube. You’ll often get a normal video download (around 360p–720p for progressive files). Some tools also list an audio-only option (M4A), which is handy if you only need the track.

Note: many Shorts songs are copyrighted. Downloading for personal use is one thing; using that audio in your own videos or posting it elsewhere can get you blocked or claimed. If it’s your own Short, you’re fine. If it’s someone else’s, be careful.

3. Instagram story download link copy

Stories disappear in 24 hours, so people look for “Instagram story download link copy” when they want to keep something before it vanishes.

Steps people actually use:

  1. Open the Story.
  2. Tap the three dots or share icon.
  3. Choose Copy link (if it shows).
  4. Paste that link into a public story/post downloader.

This only works when Instagram still treats the Story as reachable without login. Private accounts, close-friends lists, and expired Stories usually fail. Highlights sometimes work if the highlight is public.

Don’t paste login details into any random site. Public link only. And again — save what you’re allowed to save.

4. Pinterest story download

Pinterest “stories” and video pins are easy to lose in the feed. If you found a useful clip (recipe, DIY, fashion), copying the pin link and running it through a downloader is the usual approach. pinterest to download

Look for a pin that actually plays video, not just a static image. Copy the pin URL from the browser or the share sheet, paste it, and wait for the MP4 options. Some pins only have one quality; others show 720p or similar when Pinterest exposes it.

Photo-only pins won’t return a video file — the tool isn’t broken, there’s just no video stream. Private boards and restricted pins also won’t work. pinterest video download full hd 1080p
